The Rock Says His Friendship With Tyrese Is Over

It’s safe to say, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Tyrese are no longer buddies. The Fast and Furious co-stars fell out after Tyrese voiced his disappointment via social media, that The Rock would be staring in a F&F spin off—without the rest of the cast. Tyrese accused The Rock that doing a spin off movie was breaking up the F&F family and that The Rock wasn’t returning his text messages. On a recent episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live’, Johnson says that he sees no reason the beef with Tyrese and that he’s disappointed their friendship is over. “And I always feel like a beef requires two people to actually jump in it. And it was really one-sided, and he had voiced his opinion a lot on social media. We haven’t talked, and I don’t see where we would, and to me there’s no need to have a conversation,” he said.

Tyrese has since admitted is open attack on The Rock is in poor taste. He spoke to Van Lathen of TMZ and said, “I found myself being the messenger on behalf of various people associated with to the franchise but stupidly was the only one who went public about those feelings, which is my own fault,” he said,  “It’s not professional. It’s not cool.”
