…not the bathroom?

Surprisingly, the most unsanitary place in the airport, isn’t the restrooms. According to Philly Voice, the plastic trays used at the security check points are much worse. According to a study in 2016, evidence of respiratory viruses were found on 10 percent of the surfaces tested and in 25 percent of the air samples collected at Helsinki Airport in Finland.

Yikes.

What’s even crazier—none of the bathrooms that were tested yielded any viruses.
