Michelle Obama To Discuss Plans To Promote Girls’ Education Worldwide

Former First Lady, Michelle Obama is set to sit down with Today’s Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb on October 11 to discuss her plans promote girls’ education worldwide. The conversation will be a part of an hour long TV special.

Obama appears to be teaming up with Jenna Bush Hager, the Today correspondent and daughter of former President George W. Bush, who is launching a series on global adolescent girls’ education the same day, according to an NBC News press release. The International Day of the Girl event will feature live performances by female artists including Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, and Meghan Trainor. (Yahoo)

Sounds super exciting! If there’s one thing we know about Michelle, she always goes hard for women and education.
