According to TMZ, NBC was prepared to pay Megyn Kelly $38 million on her way out the door after her comments about blackface, backfired and she stopped showing up to her show. The $38 covered the remainder of her contract with the network. Included in her negotiation, however, was a confidentiality agreement that Kelly’s lawyer says she won’t sign, unless the fork over an additional $10 million.

Seems as if NBC respectfully declined their counter and negotiations are still pending.
