A Durham North Carolina man is is about to come into almost $9 million after winning a lawsuit against his wife’s lover. Keith King sued Francisco Huizar, claiming he seduced his wife and destroyed his marriage.  That’s right, in North Carolina, you can actually sue someone for having sex with your partner. In the lawsuit, King accused Huizar of criminal conversation, alienation of affection, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and assault and battery.

Judge Orlando Hudson sided with King and the case end with Huizar being order to pay $8.8 million compensatory and punitive damages.
