Whitney Houston sang the words, “I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way.” That song, The Greatest love of all, inspired me so much growing up. It made me feel like someone cared about my future and that I can be anything I set my mind to. Those words still hold true to me, and kids need all the inspiration they can get now more than ever. That is why I teamed up with CF Charities to motivate children to pursue their dreams, no matter their race, economic background, family circumstance, or where they come from.
As you know, March is Women’s History month, and I’m continuing to celebrate the accomplishments of our young ladies throughout the community. If you remember, a few weeks ago, I had an amazing time with the Precision Dance Team celebrating their passion for the arts at the Alvin Ailey performance, we had lunch and great conversation– it was an amazing time! Heres a Recap…

The girls gave me a wonderful card!

This time, I’m celebrating young ladies through their passion for sports!
I’m hosting a special night out at the Sixers game on Wednesday, April 10 versus the Chicago Bulls at the Wells Fargo Center. This is the team’s final season game before the playoffs begin. I reserved a club box suite and we’ll have plenty of food and share lots of laughs – it will be a good time.
So, if you know of a girls sports team in the community or a school (any sport – middle or high school age) that you want to nominate to be my guests, send me a direct message aka DM, on my Instagram (@therealkfoxx) and a brief note as to why you want to celebrate these young ladies. I’ll read through them all and choose the winning team and their coaches also! Looking forward to this!
