Rebuplican Florida GOP candidate, Rep. Ron DeSantis is receiving serious backlash for the comments he made shortly after the primary election wins on Wednesday night in regards to his African American opponent, Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum. “–the last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases and bankrupting this state,” DeSantis said, “That is not going to work. It’s not going to be good for Florida.”
