R&B singer Eric Benet was a guest on ‘The Red Pill’ podcast hosted by Van Lathan of TMZ and he believes the music industry is repeating history. While artists such as Sam Smith and Adele get label as ‘genius’ for their smooth, R&B music, black artists do not get the same regard, he feels. He compared it to Elvis’ day.
