Dr. Dre, who has previously served as producer on the N.W.A. biopic, is reportedly developing another biopic, centered around the life of the late r&b legend, Marvin Gaye. According to Variety, the project is in very early stages. This will be the most recent project to tell Gaye’s story, since 2016 when Jamie Foxx signed on to produce a TV series about the singer, that never fully got off the ground.
