CNN’s Don Lemon was brought to tears on Monday, when discussing the sexual assault of a family member who confided in him last week that she’d been assaulted years ago. Lemon also recounted his own experience with sexual assault.

“And even though it happened then,” Lemon told viewers, “There is still pain now. And it still matters now.”

This comes after Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh has been accused of sexually assaulting three women and President Donald Trump rushing to his defense, claiming the #metoo movement is ‘very dangerous’ for powerful me.
