Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther co-star, Winston Duke is set to play the role of MMA fighter, Kimbo Slice, in a new biopic. The screenplay is being written by Andy Weiss and produced by Bee Holder Productions and Webros Entertainment. The film will follow the rise to fame of Kimbo Slice who gained notoriety for his backyard fights on Youtube. Slice passed away in 2016 at 42 from a liver mass and heart failure. “I’m looking forward to exploring Kimbo’s story and interrogating the expectations society places on men like him who are their own special breed of hero,” Winston Duke said.
