American Airlines has made it clear that they do not want any part in the horrific separation of thousands of children being separated from their families at US borders. “We have no desire to be associated with separating families, or worse, to profit from it,” the Airline said in a statement.

Southwest Airlines, also rejected the idea of being involved in the transportation of separated children. “We are a company founded on love, and we want to connect people to what’s important in their lives, not disconnect them,” they said.

Reportedly, 2,000 children have been separated from their families and 300 children are supposed to be heading to New York within the next week.
