In a recent interview with British Vogue, SZA proclaimed that women don’t need men to survive. “We don’t need [men] to survive or be valid functioning members of society,” the Grammy nominated singer told the magazine. “[Women are] representing themselves in a new grown-up demographic that’s probably quite threatening to what we’ve always known.”
She went on to say, “I don’t try to analyze those things, because I feel like if I focus on who I want to be and what I want to represent for women and what I want to represent for myself, I don’t have time to worry about how men view me.”
SZA says shes focusing on being a better person overall, and not falling victim to the stigma of male entitlement. Ladies, do we agree?
