Diddy is building up the educational community in his hometown of NYC. He pledged $1 million to his Harlem charter school network, which is expanding to the Bronx. The third location, Capital Prep Bronx, is scheduled to open next September. “I came from the same environment these kids live in every day. I understand the importance of access to a great education, and the critical role it plays in a child’s future,” Diddy said in a statement. The first two locations were in Harlem and Connecticut.
